According to Prof. Dr. Donald Carl Slack, the visiting professor from the University of Arizona, USA, who received the visiting scholar from Thailand – United States Educational Foundation ( Fulbright Thailand) to teach and research in Soil and Water Engineering at the Department of Agricultural Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University for 6 months during June – November 2009. In this regard, Prof. Dr, Donarl Carl Slack not only taught and conducted the research but also donated money to the Vithya Pienvichitr Fund for 170,000 baht. The Vithya Pienvichitr Fund founded since 1989, has supported equal educational opportunity for students in need. Until now, the Fund has enabled a great number of students to graduate from the Faculty of Engineering. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
