Every time when Prof. Dr. Englande, Jr. visits Thailand, he never fails to phone us or stop by to visit, simply to say hello and touch base. To us, his consistent communication has always been our delight.

In 2004, his visit also included a kind contribution of US$ 100 for TUSEF to spend on whatever seen necessary. He said it was the intention of him and his wife to do a little something for Fulbright which has given him great opportunities. We then mentioned that the donation could go to help cover our newsletter costs which are much higher due to the increase in content and postage to send them to all our Thai and American Alumni. We truly appreciate his continued commitment to Fulbright activities in Thailand.

Dr. Englande was an American Fulbright Scholar working with the Department of Sanitary Engineering, Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University for six months in FY 2000-2001. He came from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.

We now are waiting to welcome him and his wife to our newly-renovated office!!
