Through the kindest cooperation and introduction of two key administrators of Silpakorn University, i.e. Ajarn Chaicharn Tavornvej, and Dr. Wasin Inkapatanakul (both were then Vice Presidents of the university), our attempt to redesign our website pages was realized.

Thanks to Mr. Pongpan Suriyapat's wonderful design of TUSEF's website, we now have an integrated way of sending our messages of the importance of academic exchanges to our audience in different forms from the website itself to our newsletters and other related documents.

In order to create a new and striking identity of Fulbright Thailand, Mr. Pongpan stressed the meanings of "knowledge" and "growth", the two key words in the Fulbright Program. Therefore, using a plant or a leaf that has sprung out from the earth has been selected to symbolize them. Green and blue colors represent the green of the leaf and the blue of the sky, showing that knowledge can flourish high up to the sky. 

Mr. Pongpan was born in 1980 in Bangkok and grew up in the Northeast of Thailand. He is most proud to be son of his parents who are both university lecturers. During his basic education years, he learned how to play the Saxophone and lots of Thai traditional music and was able to join a Thai classical orchestra band, which later won lots of competitions at the provincial and northeastern region levels.
 
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) where he gained experiences working voluntarily as a web designer for children's education in art and design. He and his friend, Supakorn Kometmalai won the Thammasat University's web design competition. He started his career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Silpakorn University for four semesters before furthering his Master’s degree in Art and Technology in the IT University of Goteborg, Sweden.
