Fulbright
U.S. Scholar
Program

Collaborate. Inspire. Transform.

Being a Fulbright US Scholar has greatly expanded my horizons and given me a much deeper experience and appreciation for other peoples and cultures, especially Thai people and culture. Engaging for an extended time in both professional work and everyday life has provided perspectives and experiences I would never have had in a shorter time or more restricted setting. I count my hosts as both colleagues and friends now - relationships that are a great enrichment in my life. Seeing, discussing, and actively working in this different context, with different challenges, has helped me to reorder my priorities to healthier purpose.
